Frequently asked questions about SEO and web development

Honest answers to the questions clients ask most often. Can't find yours? Write to us — we answer personally.

How much does a website cost?

A complete, SEO-optimised website starts at €600 and an e-commerce store at €800. The price is fixed and known before work starts; it includes design, development, an SEO foundation and post-launch support.

How long does it take to build a website?

We launch a standard website in under 3 weeks and an e-commerce store in under 2 months. The deadline is fixed in the quote — and we keep it.

Wix or custom development — which is better for my business?

Wix and similar builders are fine for getting started fast or validating an idea. But for a business that needs to be found on Google they often cost more over time: a monthly fee forever, weaker technical SEO and a site you don't own. A custom-built website loads faster (Lighthouse 90–100 vs Wix's typical 40–70), ranks higher and is fully yours.

What is SEO and why does it matter?

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) means optimising a website for search engines so it appears higher in Google results. Higher rankings mean more visitors without paying for ads — and more customers over time.

What is an SEO audit and what does it include?

An SEO audit is a detailed website check-up: technical health, speed, indexing, content, keywords and competitors. You receive a prioritised action plan — what to fix and in which order to improve Google rankings.

How fast does SEO show results?

Technical fixes show an effect within weeks, but a stable climb in rankings usually takes 3–6 months. SEO is a long-term investment: results grow over time and do not vanish the moment you stop paying, as ads do.

Are the domain and hosting included in the price?

We handle domain registration and hosting setup — that work is included in the development price. The domain and hosting subscriptions themselves are a yearly cost (usually a few dozen euros per year) you can pay yourself or delegate to us.

Do I own my website, domain and source code?

Yes. When the project is done you own the whole website — the code, the domain and every login. We never lock you in and you can move the site whenever you like. Always ask a vendor about this before signing — the domain should be registered in your name, not just held by the developer.

Will I be able to edit the content myself?

Yes. Where needed we set up a content management system and train you to use it — you will not pay a developer to update texts, images or products.

Will the website look good on a phone?

Yes — every site is built responsive and tested on different screens. Google also indexes the mobile version first, so this is critical for SEO rankings too.

Do you build multilingual websites?

Yes, we build multilingual sites (Latvian, English, Russian and others) with a correct hreflang setup and localised URLs. Each language version works as a fully fledged SEO page in its market.

Does my website need to comply with GDPR and cookie rules?

Yes. Any website that collects visitor data (forms, analytics, cookies) must comply with GDPR and have a proper cookie banner and privacy policy. We set up a correct cookie solution and privacy policy so you are covered from day one.

Will my site appear in AI search (ChatGPT, Google AI)?

We optimise sites for AI search as well: structured data, a clear content structure and the technical signals used by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI answers. It is becoming an increasingly important customer acquisition channel.
